it'll get better, don't worry!

Its been rainy, thanks to a front that has been off to our west for a little while. The low pressure center associated with this has been bringing the moisture up this far north, but don't complain, we need rain!

NEAR TERM...TONIGHT...
For tonight, the front will pass through the area, and showers should start to diminish, but should continue in some areas, but not wide spread. A few wet snow flakes could mix in across the highest ridges tonight. Lows will be in the mid 30's outside of the city, with downtown in the low 40's/high 30's.

SHORT TERM...FRIDAY-SUNDAY
The upper level low that has been helping some of this rain should move east across the Great Lakes into the North East, with High pressure building in from South-west. A weak trough will move through the area, but with a lack of moisture, will only increase the clouds. A low pressure (Nor'easter?) will move up the South East coast, making a chance of showers across the Eastern ridges. Temps should be near or slightly above average in this time period.

for now, no long term forecast, but for now, Turkey day is looking colder than it has been.
